Emotional Fear

Ok here we have a writing competition that I will not be writing for, I will add the example but this time I am going to be judging.

At the moment this is just a one time thing, later one I may advance it to more then one, and may make more but this is just a starter thing for me.

Rules
1. You're entry must be written by you, and only you. You can have other people check it over of course, but over all you must have written the story by yourself.

2. Do not harrass other people's writing's. If you do this I will not even bother to judge your writing.

3. Put Entry on your own writing page This is just so that this page won't become clustered

4. Add a word count That way I can know if I will need to free up more then 2 minutes to read your story.

5. Have fun! hopefully you follow this rule, along with the others.

Theme

The theme of this is simple, it is excatly like the title of the page says. If you are entering you are to write about emotional fear. This means no, death, blood, injury shalt happen to the main character. Feel free to have it happen to other things to strike fear into the main character but only if you can do it.

When I say emotional fear, I mean like someone being afraid of the boogie man, there is nothing to be scared of, but they think there is. In other words, the way that you would have become scared when you were young, you are to write something like that.

Requirement
Follow the rules
Is to be inbetween 200-2000 words for a prose
Inbetween 8-50 lines for a poem.

2006-01-14 [Mister Saint]: See, that one's pretty obvious. ^-^

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: lol yea

2006-01-14 [chuchutrain]: :)

2006-01-14 [Burning Inside]: yay I was wondering when you would finally join, and take your time on you entry if you want

2006-01-14 [chuchutrain]: okay ^^ I still don't have an idea lol ^^;;

2006-01-17 [Mister Saint]: Oy! I have a question, Burning. In my story, the min character does have an injury, but it occurred before the story started and was an accident as opposed to being hurt by something. Will I need to edit that out, or does it not count?

2006-01-17 [Kuzco]: I'm in Burn. took me a while but I got it. :)

2006-01-17 [Burning Inside]: its a prior injury, while it may have something to do with the story, it had not happened in the story, it is fine and well.

2006-01-17 [Burning Inside]: btw hello Kuzco, and thank you both Moorn and Kuzco for the stories, I will read them as soon as I get a chance

2006-01-17 [chuchutrain]: My story isn't working out *cries*

2006-01-17 [Kuzco]: calm yourself...trust in the force and explain what you mean?

2006-01-17 [chuchutrain]: my entry for this contest, I'm having quite a hard time doing it...

2006-01-17 [Mister Saint]: How so, hon? We can help. ^^ If you need creepy, just check Kuzco's sock drawer. >.>

2006-01-17 [Kuzco]: heh, well I used a nightmare I had last year so it was pretty straightfoward. remember, someone gets really scared but nothing actually happens. Think monsters, aliens, even robbers, anything that would scare you and be as creative with the set as you can. Of course you know this already but what the heck, right? ;)

2006-01-17 [chuchutrain]: o.O maybe I'll write about Kuzco's Sock Drawer from Hell *ponders*

2006-01-17 [chuchutrain]: I don't know...good idea's just wont work for me in this sense...which is annoying the hell outta me

2006-01-17 [Kuzco]: Dude! Chu, do not check my sock drawer, I don't want you having a nervous breakdown on my account. Please, stay away...from my sock drawer

2006-01-17 [chuchutrain]: ....why is it so bad?

2006-01-17 [Mister Saint]: Hey Chu. Look up Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart". Ish where I got my inspiration.

2006-01-17 [chuchutrain]: okeys
